Their performance can be up-graded, and they have an integrated PROFINET interface for programming, HMI-connection, controller for distributed I/O-devices, and distributed drive architecture. Casings are available in five different sizes and cover a power range of 0.12 to 30 kW. Siemens SINAMICS V90
SINAMICS V90 is a servo regulator for basic processing applications, positioning and moving. It enables for greater moving dynamics and can be connected to all models of FL6 motors. Its integrated safety function STO (Safe Torque Off) ensures safety up to the SIL 2 category based on EN 61508 (pl d based on EN ISO 13849), even as an independent unit. It is available together with ProfiNet communication or with PTI – Pulse Train Input).

Both motor models (with aluminium alloy or grey cast iron casing) provide an IE4 energy efficiency class. It is sensible to invest in the new IE4 motors, as savings on energy can be recovered in just six months.
