Simatic Step7-Service Training Programme
For the maintenance of older Siemens automation systems.
The training extends to SIMATIC STEP 7 V5.x engineering software and WinCC Flexible 2008 runtime visualisation software, and to hardware including the S7-300 family of universal controllers, TP177B series touch-screen displays, ET 200M distributed peripherals and Micromaster 440 frequency converters.
Participants are instructed on hardware configuration, practical application of Step7 program functions, linking ET 200M distributed peripherals to PROFINET, and linking and configuring PROFIBUS to MM440 frequency converters.
They are taught to set up basic parameters on frequency converters and to programme touch-screen displays for visualisation.
The training also introduces participants to diagnostic tools for eliminating hardware and software errors, as well as to the S7-1200 and S7-1500 family of universal converters and the TIA Portal software.
No detailed portfolio knowledge is required.
